The Founders
A Vision for Health Education Takes Shape...
In 1977, a group of forward-thinking individuals founded the Emilio Aguinaldo College of Medicine, aiming to address the need for quality healthcare education in the Philippines. By 1987, the De La Salle Brothers took ownership, transforming it into the De La Salle University Medical Center and later, the De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute (DLSMHSI).
Since then, DLSMHSI has expanded its programs, launched cutting-edge research, and become a leader in health education and services, shaping the future of healthcare in the country.
